　　The "DALIAN SHIDA ART CO. (PTY) Ltd." was launched in the year 2000, in Dalian. On the basis of the traditional clay-art - which has got deep routs in China - a new art-craft material, the "PAPER-CLAY" seemed to have a very good chance to become popular in the country, after its Worldwide success.The extra power of the medium, that it targets nearly every segment of the hobby-craft market: children, housewives, craftlovers, artists, etc.... Our company has pioneer role in China, because we brought the material first into the country. It wasn't easy, because the task to get people know the new medium, is not a simple retail activity. Our Managing Director, Kim Young Rim, is a multiawarded South Korean photo-artist,with an International Industrial Artdiploma with the paper-clay. The most important part of the job to educate people how to use the material. In this field we have to target kindergardens, schools, teachers. That is the way the paper-clay can be popular in China, and will get a major role to develope the children's creative mind. We are giving free classes for teachers, professionals and amateurs. The company also dealing with interior-designers. The material perfect medium for making or re-doing classical-, modern-, antique frames, mirrors, lamps, etc... A very new marketing segment is for the paper-clay: the advertising industry! Company signs, cartoon-figurines, and the interested parties' own ideas can be "easily" created from the material. And beside it is a bit hobby, a bit art, but undoubtedly FUN !!! We stock all the accessories, paints, glues related with the paper-clay. In 2003 we started to supply overseas consumers; in the beginning of 2005 we expanded in Dalian.
